The Focal Point

There’s more to 1:1’s than status updates. It’s a way to check in and see how things are going, and most importantly, connect with your employee…to connect deeply with your team, understand their challenges, and help them grow.

As a manager, you create your employee’s experience at work, so these 1:1 meetings are a great time to cultivate that team culture.

When one-on-ones are done well, they build trust, improve performance, and strengthen relationships between managers and their teams.
